Hello, I'm Angela Zenere (Sexton) a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and the owner of Zen Counseling, PLLC! I have worked in a variety of mental health modalities, including: private practice, IDOC (Illinois Department of Corrections), community mental health, substance abuse, court ordered counseling and anger management and domestic violence. Besides being an LCPC, I also have my 40-hour domestic violence certificate and am trained in EMDR therapy. I received my undergraduate degree (BA) in clinical psychology from Argosy University- Chicago in 3 years and received my Masters of Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2016. Whether we need help transitioning through life, moving, loss of a loved one, self-esteem, parenting, co-parenting, couples, communication trouble, anxiety, depression, trauma, etc. we are here to help. This is not an easy thing to do so be proud that you have made it this far!
